Lunch Bunch Book Discussion
This group sets a monthly schedule of books to read and a participant to lead the discussion. They meet from 12:30-1:30 on the second Thursday of each month at the Whitman College Campus, Hall of Science, Room 138. Books vary from non-fiction to current fiction, classics, local authors and current events. All members and guests are welcome on a regular or occasional basis. Evening Book Discussion Group
This group meets at 7:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month in members’ homes. A schedule of books is available. Members sign up to lead the discussion, share reviews and provide wine! Members along with their spouse/partner or friend gather, usually on the second Saturday of the month, for a hostess-planned potluck meal. Themes for the meals are chosen in advance by each hostess and range from various national cuisines, to home style comfort fare; unique ingredients to food from novels. Members self-select in advance from the many monthly themed options (each member hosts one dinner) for an evening of fellowship and fabulous food. Knitting Interest Group
It isn’t a knitting class, just a reason to get together and knit, share patterns, projects, etc. We meet on the second Wednesday of the month, 1:30-3:00. Anyone is welcome.
